Musafia Master double violin case Design Order

Dimitri Musafia (Cremona, Italy) started producing violin cases in 1983. It can be said certainty that the Musafia double violin case is one of the most distinctive and careful double violin case available today. To live up to the big name that hosted Stradivari and Guarneri violins, Musafia spared no effort to design this Master double case.

Kevlar®, stronger than steel by weight, is widely used as a structural reinforcement, which actually makes the case lighter: again, an important Musafia first. Minimal linear surfaces provide further strength.

To measure up to the great names that were then housing violins by the likes of Stradivari and Guarneri, no effort was spared. While a Luxury model case had basically four structural components in the bottom, the MUSAFIA MASTER had no less than 11, each one painstakingly bonded (some with bolted-through steel L-reinforcements) to create a case of exceptional strength.

The padding follows the shape of the instrument closely to restrain it from excessive movement in case of impact, and multiple accessory boxes add utility.

The interior fabric selection of the Musafia Master Series double violin case is offered in three versions:

CLASSIC: The interior is lined with the finest velvet plush

EXCLUSIVE: With Royale suede (similar to suede) and velvet plush

AUREUM: Lined with Italian glove-quality leather, silk velvet and satin. The Aureum version can also be lined with the softest, luxurious suede on the solid surfaces at no extra charge.
