Jargar Violin Strings – Sonic Quality for Your Violin

Jargar violin strings were founded in 1956 by the Danish cellist Jarl Hansen. He developed strings with a flexible steel core for a warm, brilliant sound, good tuning stability and quick response.

We carry two series: the Jargar violin strings with steel core and chrome steel winding (steel E, G also silver wound), and the Jargar Superior violin strings with a newly developed synthetic core, aluminium or silver winding and great sound quality full of warmth – medium only. Both are available as a set or single strings.
