With the violin case Lievissima Evolution doubled Musafia the thickness of the thermal insulation (the cover is now truly super padded) to the point of it now providing protection against even substantial bumps, and did away with the sewn exterior borders for a new smooth, rounded, modern borderless look, making an aftermarket slip-on insulation cover no longer necessary even for rigid climes. And guess what: Lievissima Evo is even lighter still! A dart-shape model S1911 weighs in fact consistently less than the declared 1.9 kg/ 4.18 lbs.

Kevlar®, stronger than steel by weight, is widely used as a structural reinforcement, which actually makes the case lighter: again, an important Musafia first. Minimal linear surfaces provide further strength.

Lievissima Evolution is made to prove that you don't have to accept the disadvantages of Carbon Fiber or thermoplastics (poor thermal insulation, limited violin safety, delicate exterior) to enjoy an ultra light weight case which actually offers superior protection to your violin!
